My cat loves it. She has food sensitivity and so far is doing great on this one. Only complaint is the resealable bags seal did not work when I opened it.

This kangaroo cat food is a huge hit with all three of my cats, even the picky one. I will say that the smell of the food is reminiscent of roadkill, but nothing too crazy and it doesn’t travel too far from the cat bowls.The only regret I have is that I wish it would have been a bigger bag and that I might have to start buying this food now! Many people probably think that the price isn’t too bad, but I am not one of them. My cats normally eat cat food that cost a little bit less than this for a 22 pound bag, so for me the sticker shock is quite real. Ha ha.I will say that the ingredients are great quality and very few, but I would go broke if I had to buy this for my three cats, so that is why I probably will not buy this, but if I had the means then you bet you’re sweet paycheck I definitely would.The protein, which I’m guessing costs more because of shipping from New Zealand, would absolutely be great for cats with chicken allergies. This might seem like a weird allergy for a cat, but it is much more common than most people think. In fact, it is very likely that your cat, or at least one of your cats, has this allergy without you even knowing it.All I can really say is if you have the means, then try it out. Chances are your cat or cats will love it.

Both of my cats have had no issues eating this food even without doing the gradual change method for food since I never do that.Neither of my cats are super picky but there has been dry food that they refuse to eat before, so if they eat this I'd say most cats will enjoy it too. It smells fine but that is all I can tell on my own without eating it myself which I won't do

To my surprise, all 6 of my cats love this Wild Kangaroo Feast dry food. That rarely ever happens. It has a very high quality, limited ingredient list. It's made in New Zealand and I appreciate the strict standards they adhere to.The food is small, like little pebbles, and easy for them to eat. It has a rather strong odor, which i wasn't expecting, but the cats must find it appealing. No digestive issues and no throwing up, which is awesome! They all seem to really enjoy the taste and.come running when they hear me grab the bag to fill their bowls. I think it's a good value and the price is in line with most other premium foods.

When I ordered this dry cat food, I thought the brand name was Wild Kangaroo. So imagine my surprise when it arrived and I read the package and discovered I was mistaken and it is not the brand name, but the main ingredient. I personally don't eat meat myself, so this felt strange. Plus being American, kangaroo seems like an adorable exotic animal. I signed up to review this product, and whatever reservations I had about the it, nothing would be changed by me refusing to use it. I honestly didn't think my cats would eat it, but that was just my human bias. Almost a week ago, I filled up my cats automatic dry food feeder with this food, and both of my cats have been eating it, honestly even better than their typical food with more traditional animal proteins in it. My younger cat doesn't like to eat much canned cat food, so she overeats dry food and throws up. Despite the fact that she has been chowing down on this stuff, I haven't cleaned up any cat vomit this week. With the other brands of dry cat food, I clean up cat throw up 1 to 2 times a week. That has been the best part of trying out this unique cat food.The only negative is that this is on the more pricey side, $25.99 for a 4lb bag at the time of this review. That comes to about $6.50 a pound. This could get expensive if you have a multiple cat household. I usually get Iams or Purina One, which is considerably cheaper, but I have 2 cats. However, if you have a cat with tummy issues, this is not a bad option. That being said, if you have ever had to buy cat food that was veterinarian recommended, or prescribed you know how much they can cost. Many of the "special" cat foods cost even more this. I can't believe I'm saying this, but it is worth a try if your cat has digestive issues before getting into the even more expensive brands.
