I wanted to have some good, healthy treats for my four-legged friend. The air-dried lamb have a lot of good ingredients in them.

This Wishbone air-dried dog food has been a huge hit with my pack. I tried both the lamb, and beef and lamb, versions and they were both equally well liked. I originally got it for my tiny picky boy who hates most food, (He needs to change things up for every meal or he won't eat. 🙄) but all my dogs love it. My picky little prince will actually eat this, even though it's not soft. He normally refuses anything that requires too much chewing since he has crooked little teeth, but he'll gobble up a whole bowl of this and still look for more.The recipe on these Wishbone foods is fantastic, and I really love that they're grain free without relying on legumes. My pups don't require grain free, and I usually avoid it to prevent DCM in my Doberman, but it's good to know there's a food out there that's grain free without being dangerous. I'm really picky about what I feed my dogs, but this food passes with flying colors.

Great As A Topper Or High Value Treat

We have two very different dogs—one who eats anything, and one who acts like every meal should be Michelin-star quality… and usually turns his nose up at lamb.This completely surprised me because both dogs loved it.The ingredients are high quality (air-dried lamb, green-lipped mussel, pumpkin, etc.), and it’s made in New Zealand, which is always a good sign for sourcing.We ended up breaking it into smaller pieces and using it as high-value treats or a food topper, and it worked perfectly. Easy on digestion, grain-free, and nothing was left behind.Definitely a bit of a splurge, but worth it.

Yummy Lamb Treats

My dog usually gets picky with food, but this one he actually gets excited for. You can tell it’s high quality right away. The pieces smell strong but in a natural way, not like cheap dog food.I like that it’s mostly real lamb and organs, not a bunch of fillers. It feels like I’m actually feeding him something good. His energy has been solid and his coat even looks a little better.Also noticed he’s been moving around really well, especially since he’s getting older. Not stiff like before. Could be the ingredients like the mussels and collagen.It’s easy to serve and doesn’t make a mess. Overall just feels like a clean, healthy option. I’d definitely keep buying it.

High quality dog food topper

My dog really liked this high quality air-dried dog food. I fed it to her as a topper, as we have always given her a topper since she was a puppy to entice her to eat dry kibble right away. It would even make a good treat. Even though I opened it right away, I appreciate that the food had a great expiration date of Jan 28 2027.The ingredients are healthy and I appreciate the addition of superfoods and the benefit of air-drying and minimal processing. Our Chihuahua/terrier does have slightly bulging eyes, so anything that promotes "bright eyes" is a plus. (I am guessing carrots/Vitamin A). And she is 8 years old, so anything that also supports her joint health is also great. New Zealand is known for their high quality lamb and Green-Lipped Mussels. Everything in my experience with this product supports that it is of the highest quality.
